Octoberfest! A massive event every fall that brings over 100,000 people to downtown Appleton along College Avenue. So amazing! Here are some new photos from the 2006 and 2009 events. In the 2006 Octoberfest, we had a rarity: bad weather. But crowds still flocked to the mesmerizing event.
Why would people come from many miles away to spend a rainy Saturday afternoon in Appleton. Oh, that's right. Tiger Paws! The official and most delicious food of Octoberfest.
Ah, Tiger Paws! The fried dough treat coated with sugar and cinnamon. Half fat-free, half sugar-free, adding up to 100% fat and sugar free(!!), if you're math skills are sufficiently advanced.
Lots of arts and crafts are on display and on sale on the Lawrence University campus.
