Religion is an important part of life in Appleton and Wisconsin generally. Speaking of religion, here is a statue in front of the temple called Lambeau Field (in the Appleton suburb of Green Bay), honoring Saint Vincent of Lombardi, one of football's great pattron saints. The halo is courtesy of Miller Beer and their oval sign on the stadium itself.
