October is a favorite time of mine for the Fox Valley. Here are some views from October 2012. Copperleaf Boutique Hotel on College Avenue. Friends who have stayed there really enjoyed it.
Sal's Pizza, one of my favorite places for fast pizza. You can see what you're getting before you buy it. New York style, which I really love.
Katsu-Ya of Japan. Hitachi style Japanese. Very popular cuisine and a good choice when you need to eat something with a Japanese teppanaki/barbecue flare.
Appleton's German Brau Haus for German food and libations, so I'm told.
Casablance Latin cuisine, on College Avenue.
Appleton's foremost pizza restaurant according to some is Frank's Pizza Palace. I like it, but am not sure I'd call it the #1 place. But it has the richest history and probably the most established clientele.
Five Guys near the Fox River Mall is my favorite burger place. A great place to customize your burger for any craving. I had the vegetarian burger a few moments after taking this photo. Happy customer!
