Favorites from China: Yu Garden, Shanghai
Yu Yuan (Yu Garden) is a favorite spot in Shanghai for tourists and locals, one of the prettiest places I've seen. And it's just a brief walk from where I live. Here are some photos on the evening of China's Lantern Festival, 15 days after the lunar new year begins, welcoming the year of the dragon. Bonus: If you are coming to China, be sure to see my page of tips for survival: Surviving in China.
