Favorites from China: China Shots #7
China is where I live, and the old city of Shanghai is all around me. Here are some night scenes from a few popular venues such as the Bund and East Nanjing Road. (Bonus: If you are coming to China, be sure to see my page of tips for survival: Surviving in China.)
Said to be the world's most popular pedestrian street, East Nanjing Road in Shanghai is lit up at night and filled with activity and fun. One of my favorite places to stroll when showing off the town to visitors. September 2012.
My wife and some friends of ours while crossing the Huang Pu River on Shanghai's public ferry, offering one of the best views and values in the world: just 2 RMB (about 30 cents).-
